Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA)

These Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms" or "EULA") govern your access to and use of the FreeTime mobile application ("Application") and related services provided by SmartChain S.r.l., having its registered office at Discesa Zeusi, 1 - Crotone, Italy, VAT / Tax ID: 03607620782, Email: info@smart-chain.it ("SmartChain", "we", "us", or "Company").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Application, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the Application.

1. License Grant

SmartChain grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes on compatible mobile devices owned or controlled by you, subject to the usage rules set forth in Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Service Description & Artificial Intelligence

FreeTime is an intelligent time-management and calendar assistant designed to automate and streamline personal event scheduling, including voice note processing (Speech-To-Text), flyer/poster image processing (OCR), and thematic social channel monitoring (Social Listening).

  • AI-powered features are provided as assistive tools. You remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, dates, times, and details of all generated events before relying on them.
  • The Company does not guarantee error-free interpretation of audio files, complex images, or external social media content.

3. User Account & Security

Certain advanced features require the creation of a FreeTime account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time directly within the Settings screen of the Application.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases (FreeTime PRO and FreeTime VIP)

The Application offers free core features as well as auto-renewing paid subscription tiers (FreeTime PRO and FreeTime VIP) on a monthly or yearly billing basis:

  • Billing & Payment: Subscriptions are billed and processed directly through your digital store account (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). The applicable price is clearly displayed on the paywall screen prior to purchase confirmation.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew for consecutive periods of the same duration unless cancelled by the User at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions: You can manage or disable auto-renewal at any time in your device store settings (on iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; on Android: Google Play > Profile > Payments & Subscriptions).
  • Restoring Purchases: You can restore previously purchased subscriptions on a new device or following a reinstall by using the "Restore Purchases" button available on the paywall and in the Application settings.
  • Refunds: All financial transactions and potential refund requests are subject to the policies of and managed directly by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android).

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing purpose;
  • Upload or process any content, images, or audio recordings that infringe intellectual property rights or contain abusive, defamatory, or illicit material;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application;
  • Overburden, compromise, or disrupt the integrity or security of SmartChain servers or networks.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Application (including software, architecture, algorithms, user interfaces, branding, trademarks, and logos) are and shall remain the exclusive property of SmartChain S.r.l. or its licensors.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SmartChain S.r.l. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including missed appointments or inaccurate scheduling resulting from automated AI interpretation.

8. Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. All personal data collected through the Application is processed in strict compliance with our Privacy Policy, available at: https://en.free-time.cloud/privacypolicy.

9. Modifications to the Terms

SmartChain reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Application following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent court of the consumer's place of residence.
